First tough day @ work since Asshat left.

We dealt with it. No yelling. All smiles.

Except for the Health Dept. No smiles for them.

Tomorrow will mark one month since he left. Time flies when you're having fun.

Someone snitched on the kitchen to the health dept.

Very specific complaints. Actually suspect new chef. 54 items. 4 belong to me. 3 already taken care of. Other item (a hand sink that has been there 40+ years is suddenly 2.3 sq. In. Too small.)

    Seriously.

    $400 for new ss sink.

I'm kinda glad I'm old and won't have to put up with this shit much longer.

Was gonna take a 4lb hammer to it and expand it a few inches.

New sink makes happy face on inspector. Not my dime, so....

Trail rig build for under $100. Suggest using treated 2X4's as an upgrade.

What's the plan? I'm looking for an axle to build an expo trailer around.

Same thing. I haven't priced anything out or even started looking, but I'd buy an axle if I found one. I still have my stock suspension I could use for it :drevil:

And an extra set of oem wheels...
And a friend with a welder...

Home. Finally. Long day. We spent time with 2 loved ones we'll probably never see alive again. Then drove home with a strong tailwind, and into sleet/snow/patchy ice. Thin coating of sleet/ice on stuff...

@ work. Kids Christmas Party today. Busy. Not a lot of sleep last night. The down side to living 2 blocks from the BIG fire house in our town/county. Slicker'n snot on a glass door knob last night. (Ice/sleet/freezing rain) Must have been a few wrecks. Around 3AM they rolled everything...must have been a house fire.

Wife is going with her sisters to see a movie and have lunch. So...After work, "Dad" is going to investigate a little trail along a creek bed that's where the locals go to play. Supposed to be about a mile long, several hills, 2 creek crossings, and 5 minutes from the house.

It dropped to 15 degrees last night. All the way up to a balmy 18 now. Any plans I have are built around staying in a warm truck, a warm house, a warm shop, or.....well, NOT a warm office at work. I'm outta here as soon as Santa shows up at the party.

But if I can run to Lowes now and spend a couple of hours this morning finishing it up....then I can spend the rest of the day sitting on a warm couch watchin' football

I certainly haven't watched it much lately...I'm guessing for the same reason you aren't.

But I'll try to catch a Dallas game here and there

    No NFL...

    No NBA...

    May quit watching MLB

College is too corrupt. About done with that.

All my favorites have left NASCAR

American riders are weenies in Motocross these days.

I'm no longer regretting being old. I won't have to put up with this shit much longer.
