Come away from Zoe trip with an extremely squeaky right rear leaf spring. Will investigate.

    Q. Why does it rain?

    A. To flush mud and dirt out of hiding spots on your truck.

Had 'er clean after Saturday. Or so I though. Light rain. Mud all over everything under front end.

    And wash again.....

Taking 4 days of vacation next week. I'll FINALLY do the 1" of lift (in addition to what I already have)....1/2" top plate spacers in front and new custom made leaf springs in rear.

That'll get me one step closer to the Tacoma being done. Still to go; Install onboard air. Decide on which roof rack goes on topper. Purchase and install snorkel. Install Tru-Trac in front diff.

    Stop lying to yourself.

You'll never be "done." You'll just be "between upgrades."

Wife says there's a box on the front porch when I get home. Not sure what it is. Nothing on order ATM.

Most of the interior for the FJ crammed into a big box....Toyota dealer drop shipped it to my addy. Wasn't expecting it for another 2 weeks.

Fun project for next week. Taking 4 days off work.

Cant sleep. We just found out 3 hours ago that our papillon, Nikki, has liver cancer. She has a baseball size tumor....and is in a fair bit of pain. She will go to sleep for good on Saturday morning.

She's my little buddy. After my cancer surgery, she sat next to me for days on end, keepung me company. I will miss her so much.

1st official "construction meeting" with our contractors this morning at 9. Should be about an hour. Then home to dig a grave.

Last day of 90 degree heat on last full day of summer. 20 degrees cooler tomorrow....with rain.

This is going to be a rough weekend.

Home. Changed oil in truck. Dug a grave. Now in recliner with Nikki in my lap. Other dogs seem to know. They are letting Nikki have all the attention.

We had dog tags made a while back with their names, our addy and phone#, and a comment about them being microchipped. I am taking Nikki's and putting it on my key ring.

Good idea,Bill. She don't need them no more. But I know if you ever loose your keys, she'll help you find 'em. :)
