Stock replacement shocks for the rear are 2 different part numbers because the distance between to mounts is different from driver to passenger side. IIRC its about a 1". This difference doesn't change if you add lift because you typically add the same amount to both sides.

DSM mostly likely recommended a shock with a slightly smaller compressed length for the driver side so there was no chance of the shock being the limiting factor when that wheel is fully tucked into the wheel well. At the same time, the passenger shock had to have a long enough extended length so it would no be the limiting factor under full articulation. Sometimes, to make this possible requires 2 different sized shocks.

Eibachs aren't to bad just need a spring compressor. Took me about am hour. Leafs take a bit longer and more work IMO. His leafs are custom that he got from another member on here. If you want 3"+ lift get allpro expos or wheelers with the asl(what I have)

You guys think my truck would look goofy with a rear tube bumper? such as trail gear? Im just worried that it would look weird with the plate front bumper but whenever I look at the price of the Elite rear I cry a little inside...

I think it depends on the bumper. I'm running a tube in back. When I got it, Elite wasn't making them yet. The look has grown on me.

There is no doubt that Tim's rear plate bumper looks fabulous but it is pricey. You can do a tube for about half the cost.

The elite would be sick. Its just a fantastic bumper, nothing else like it. But damn..800 big ones  its gonna hurt the wallet.

But as Mike just showed you, tube bumpers arent that bad especially in the rear. Just pick a good one.

I would like to get one of those Elite rear bumpers too, but they are too expensive for me. I like All Pro's new rear bumper. It's a tube bumper but looks more solid like a plate bumper because of the filler plates they have. So if I were to get a tubed bumper, I'd get this one.

The only thing about that is that after you add the hitch and brackets its looking more like $500

Yeah, but it's just about the cheapest bumper out there that doesn't look like it's been thrown together quick imo.
