I have a few issues and maybe I'm not searching the right things...

    1) I'm often getting complaints from callers on the other end saying the sound quality is bad. Anyone else have this? Know of any fixes?

    2) When playing videos and changing the volume (up or down) the audio will swap from the video playing to the music app. This happens no matter what. I watch a lot of webinars, training videos between meetings and anytime I adjust volume, it swaps back.

    3) Delay in audio when playing videos. There is always a delay with the audio in a video. Does anyone know a fix for this?

    Thanks in advance.

I have never had this issue, in both trucks I owned/own.

There are 3 volumes to keep in mind. Your phone volume, the media volume for the app and the trucks volume.

I think this is just a bluetooth thing. I have seen this as well. But it's not something that remotely bothers me. I don't watch video whiles I drive.

Thanks for the quick reply. I spend a lot of time in my truck at job sites and between meetings. The delay in audio is bothersome

in regards to the volume up/down good point. It’s when I turn the volume up on the head unit it’ll make the source of audio on my phone or iPad change from the video playing to the music app. So weird.

    What phone do you use?

I've used a Moto G5 plus and recently switched to a Pixel 3. Both phones have been excellent in terms of call quality and volume control.

I feel like there was a thread a couple weeks ago with someone reporting iphone call quality issues. Not sure if I can dig it up.

The audio delay drives me crazy. I’d say it was a Bluetooth thing but it doesn’t do that connected to any external speakers by Bluetooth, just in the Tacoma

This, the Bluetooth has zero delays on my outdoor speaker, headphones, etc.
