    Anyone have a solution to this? Couldnt seem to find this exact issue anywhere. It could be more of a iphone issue than the car's bluetooth system.

    using iphone 6s

    When I get into my car and it hooks up to start playing music, the music is fast forwarded for about 3 seconds then silent for about 3. This repeats until I turn bluetooth off and on. It happens mainly with spotify cause thats what I use for music, but also with google maps. I think its anything making sound really.

    Not the biggest deal, but I'd prefer for this to just work and not have to make me turn bluetooth off and on all the darn time...

    Yeah this happened to me and it was super annoying. I was using iPhone 7 ... i upgraded the firmware on the iPhone and it stopped happening.

    Old thread but this just started happening to me as well. I just got the new iPhone Pro and now my music and podcasts fast forward exactly like you said nearly every time unless I turn Bluetooth on and off. I have the latest firmware so I can’t imagine what to do. Definitely annoying as hell!

    I found that having only one bluetooth device on the car's system fixes the issue. Try that.

    I have a 2016 TRD Pro Tundra and I experienced the same problem with music playing really fast when connected. It started about 3 months ago and I couldn’t figured it out. I fixed that today by deleting the second device. Thank you for the advice.

    Sometimes mine connects up to Spotify all happy and a tune appears on the screen but it doesn't play.
    So I have to up-arrow to change up to the next tune and then it starts just fine.

    Doesn't happen all the time, beats Sirius for sure, and I apparently can live with it.
