    Howdy,
First post to what appears to be a great forum. I'm a 1st time owner of a Tacoma; mine is 2016 Black TRD OffRoad with tech and premium JBL package. I've had the truck for about 3 weeks.

I noticed about 2 weeks ago that whenever I return to the the truck after having left with my iPhone connected via Bluetooth, the audio would play intermittently. That is, power the truck on, phone connects to BT, and whatever audio was playing (either Pandora on the truck or iPhone audio being streamed) would play for a second, then a second of silence. This would repeat indefinitely. The only fix I found was to turn off my bluetooth on the phone, then turn back on again.

I found that my daughter had entered her phone as an additional one on the truck's system and believed the symptom to be coincidental to this. I removed her phone from the truck, leaving only my original iPhone 'registered'. The symptoms all stopped after doing this.

    Hope this helps someone.

Cool - thanks for the heads up. Possible the Tacoma didn't like her taste in music as well :rockband:

Thanks for posting this. Sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "registered". Do you mean the quick contacts? If so, does that mean you have no quick contacts?

I have two phones paired and this connection error will sometimes occur. What I did was delete the pairing on both the entune unit and the iPhone for my phone, then re-pair. Now every now and then I will get the connection error, but for the most part it works fine. Also, I have settings synced to my individual phone. I thought it may loose those settings when I deleted it, but it retained all the unique settings for the phone when I re-paired it.

Instead of "registered", I should have said "connected". When there were 2 phones connected and listed as being available to use with the radio, the symptom was there. When I removed the 2nd phone from the connected phones list, the symptoms stopped.

I also found yesterday that when I took the quick contacts off the home page that I got text messages again.

Do you need to know, or care?
I've had this same problem but never thought about deleting my daughter's. Thanks OP, I'll try it, and yes you've been helpful.
