I have people say the same…IF I’m on the highway. No mention of it when I’m driving under 50. I think the trucks are noisy and the mic pics it up easily.

I’ve heard that disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour may help. Thoughts?

My biggest problem is the Bluetooth sporadically disconnecting and being a pain in the ass to reconnect. Drives me insane.

Are they not hearing you at all or just difficulty? Maybe if the microphone isn't kicking in a battery reset may help the process? If it's just the quality of sound I'd wager a reset would be less likely, but who knows. Only one way to find out I guess.

I don’t know if there is an audio quality difference, but I don’t know why anyone would use Bluetooth when CarPlay/Android Auto is available.

Because I currently have an old ass phone that not only can be slow when using navigation and listening to music (not always), but also sometimes slightly disconnects at the charge port resetting the whole process.

Because some Toyota engineer decided that day not to put Apple CarPlay in my truck. People say I sound echoey or muffled

Here are a couple of things to try.

    1. Have your head unit Forget your phone and re-pair the phone. Sometimes that will fix things.

    2. Make sure your phone is not in your pocket or briefcase. If there is a problem with the Bluetooth Mic in your truck your phone may be trying to use the Mic in your phone.

    3. If 1 or 2 did not help, it would be helpful know what callers can’t hear you clearly means. Call someone near you. Have them give you their phone and have them sit in your truck to continue the call test. This way you can hear and better describe to TW what callers are hearing (garbled speech, low volume etc.).

My issues with my Pixel 6 Pro is sometimes my head unit will not send a pre-written text message. I just assume my truck is telling me get to my destination then text. Good luck tracking down your problem.
