I had a similar issue, my phone would connect and play music, but I wanst able to change songs using my steering wheel controls. I restarted on my phone ( turn it off and on) and that fixed the issue.

Do you have a Bluetooth GPS?? Truck can only handle one device. If I have my Bluetooth GPS on the phone won't connect.

Have you checked to see if there are any updates available on your unit?

On my 2014 entune plus, go to general settings and scroll down. You will see "software update." I believe this is where an update would show.

Tried that but it doesn't look like there is one available. I can't click the update now button...

If you haven't yet, try deleting the Bluetooth connection from both your phone and head unit and then setting them up again from the start. This has worked for me on more than one vehicle/phone.

I have a similar problem. Bluetooth works but does not notify me or read me my texts. I have a 2015 and it all works with my iPhone 5 but when I got the 6, the text features don't work anymore. Guessing I also have to ask dealer for firmware update?

If they are anything like the previous 2012 entunes, and the phone is connecting then dropping connection without any notice, I found the hardware solution fix to this issue long ago if you guys want to fix it yourselves. If it is a firmware issue all hardware is fine, then carry on.

Same thing happened when I went from Samsung to a Nokia. Then all of a sudden one day it started speaking texts to me. I have no idea why it just started working.

My Bluetooth sometime disconnects while on a call, is there a chance I could get the update for my 2015 TRD Pro?

Is this the number you need? 510074
