So, this has been going on for a little while now. I get in my truck, start her up and head out. I pick up my phone, open pandora and it starts to play through my truck speakers (sometimes it doesn't play at all), a few seconds later it suddenly stops. I look at my phone and the song is still playing. I look at my dash and it lists the song that is playing. I can change songs and everything looks as if it should be playing but no audio. I can turn off my phone bluetooth and hear the audio through the phone. I turn it back on and it will pair with the truck but not connect. The only way to remedy the issue is to pull over, turn off the truck and turn it back on. Everything will connect fine at this point. This was very intermittent at first but now seems to be getting worse as it happens about 3 times a week. I am on my second Galaxy S3 with this truck. I don't think it is the phone unless its a software bug with all S3's. Anyone had this issue? If so, did you find a fix?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Assuming it's with an Entune radio system right? If you have an iPod or some other device try using that and see if it still happens.

Also I've noticed the Facebook app messes with audio output on my iPhone. It's a common problem. So I have to close that app before using my phone with any Bluetooth device, or headphones. It's like it's on mute. So maybe try closing other apps and see if it fixes it.

Sorry I should had specified - this is the non-entune unit. I have avoided going to the dealer as i am sure as soon as I do, it will work fine. This may end up my only option though. I will try to close the facebook app next time and see if it helps.

But the question is if it's the phone, or the radio. Try another device and see if you can a replicate the problem. Wouldn't surprise me if it's the phone itself.

True. Unfortunately all we have are Galaxy S3's in the family. It did do the same thing with my old Galaxy S3. I may have an old motorola droid 2 laying around I might can try.
