Okay...so I broke down and got the G6Edge. I paired it just fine with the Tacoma, but every once in a while, the Tacoma will drop random contacts. They stay on the phone, but the system in the Tacoma doesn't recognize the contact info altogether.

Is there a firmware update that can be done?

Anyone have that problem with an earlier version of the Galaxy S phones?

    Later.

My wife got me the S6 Edge also and I also have issues with my aftermarket Pioneer bluetooth HU. I had a S5 before and never had any connectivity issues. Now my S6 Edge will disconnect randomly.

I connected my new S6 without any problems. I'm assuming you're connecting to the Entune/Toyota HU? There's a way to prompt the loading of contacts from your phone if you drill down from the set-up menu. Sorry I can't quote the actual steps

Yeah, I paired with no issues. I just lose my contacts from time to time.
