Bluetooth Playback Issue

    2014 Gray Tacoma PreRunner SR5
    I have been having an issue with the controls on my steering wheel and on the receiver itself while listening to music from my iPhone. There are times when I can't change the song or select another album. Everything seems to work properly because I can press the select button (on the steering wheel and receiver) and scroll through the albums I have on my phone but when I go to select another album or a song from the same album it doesn't do anything. Anyone else have this issue? And were you able to fix it? I guess it's worth nothing that I'm still using the factory receiver.
