Bluetooth question

Hello all.
New to the forum and wanted to ask you guys about a bluetooth issue. When I first paired, I apparently had it set to "phone only" since music wouldn't stream from my phone. When that was set, I could hear text and email alerts when paired. I have since changed the pairing to both phone and audio and now I dont hear anything for text or email. The truck seems to set those to vibrate only when it connects so I am missing people trying to contact me. Did I change something I don't know about? Or is it due to the audio pairing/setting?

Any help would save my sanity at this point!
