Got my tent out and setup, and the inside of the rain fly is sticky and the floor of the tent. I tried cleaning it up, but still sticky. I looked it up and it sound alike the silconylon is breaking down. Any ideas what I could do?

Did you put it away and store it while it was still wet? Maybe try spreading some baby powder on the sticky parts or just put a tarp down inside.

Happens if you put the tent away with it a little wet or if it has been somewhere that is a little humid or just from being old.

Will happen to certain tents after a while. At that point I just throw it away and buy a new one, but that is just me.

Yeah the tent is about 15 years old and it’s hasnt been put away wet. I saw the baby powder thing but that looks like it could get messey and I would feel like I was sleeping in a baby’s room. I really hate to get rid of it but I wonder if it’s even waterproof anymore. This does however give me an excuse to buy a RTT.

So 5k starts at 7am... will be done by like 7:35 or so, then will leave the race area by 8:30 after getting free stuff and such... go home, grab what I need... and then I leave Tyler by 9:40, I will get to Winona to the liquor store by the time they open at 10am.

Then should be at Barnwell by 11am to be able to find the camp and unload the firewood, and then be at the rock garden at 1pm to volunteer for that.

So if anyone needs anything... you have until 10:30 on Saturday to let me know so I can either grab it at Walmart in Gilmer.

Trying to plan this is like science....

One more day to go! I got my new 30 degree sleeping bag and stopped by the liquor store last night for some Shiners and a bottle of Fireball. Hopefully we all come out big raffle winners and have something to celebrate.

    @lordetaco @SuperBad
@Tundra2Play and I will be at Buc-ee's in Terrell at 8am.

    I like your style!

Sleeping bag came in yesterday and it is damn comfy, so much room for activities!

Need to go get beer, water, and some snacks today after work. Also getting the firewood as well to bring.

Gotta run around a bunch tonight to get a few things and then load the truck up. 8a should be doable. Tomorrow can't come soon enough. Work is going to suck today...

Here I am, still at home because I took the day off! Need to get some snacks at the store and stop by the bank for raffle funds, but otherwise I'm ready to go.

Just let me know if you're running late. As long as we're at Barnwell by 11, we're good.

I have a volunteer shift noon-2pm for Tech Inspection. I figure I'll still be sober at that point, so no worries about screwing that up!

I'll let you know. Shouldn't be a problem since the dog usually makes sure I'm up no later than 7...
You should have just taken the day of to come out tomorrow!
I may wait to start drinking until after 12. Beer is one of the stops I need to make tonight.
