Heard the news last night.. Absolutely heartbreaking for the biking community to lose such a great rider and all around great person. Would have done anything to prevent him from doing that.
RIP Dave Mirra you will be missed.

Pretty sad. Dave Mirra was my hero when I was growing up.

Yeah man... That hurt my soul. I damn near idolized him when I was riding. The stuff he did was unreal. Truly sad.

I remember when he did the first double backflip. That shit was crazy. Now they do triples on dirt bikes.

Yup... I remember watching him in the X Games all the time.

I still ride almost every day and have pretty much got a stable of bikes in my living room (much to the disdain of my wife lol). Taught my 10 yr old daughter how to do a tailwhip already. Pretty awesome watching your kid do something you learned to do many years ago.

Used to run the dirt ramps over in Ipswitch/Kill Hill all the time, had a blast. Usually did not have a great bike, just made do with whatever I bikes I found in the garbage. The one time I had a nice bike, it was a super heavy Haro- heaviest bike I'd ever seen. I loved that thing. Couldn't do many tricks with it because it was so heavy, but that thing would fly! It was great for dirt ramps.

I go a couple times a summer as well, but have not yet sacked up and followed my more talented friends into crabapple. I just sold my heavy rig last weekend, on the prowl for something a little more pedally now.

My wife's bike the day we brought it home. The Areo bars and clipless pedals are on it now

Yeah it really sucked to hear about Dave Mirra. He was an icon in the sport and still going strong in multiple different sports. I remember playing the old PS2 game and watching his videos. Definitely someone I looked up to when riding.

My wife would not be too happy with me if our living room looked like that. I have to keep everything in the garage haha. But i have my bike stand out there so its not too bad.

Lol yeah she's not too happy about it but one of the bikes is hers in the living room. She wanted a road bike so she could ride with our next door neighbor so I said "sure... We'll get you one for around $1500". I figured that would get her a decent bike and if she didn't like it I'm not out what I have invested in all mine. Well that shit went right out the window as soon as she saw this bike. Full carbon with full Dura Ace components.

I've got to figure something out because I want them out also but it's hard hanging up over $10k worth of bikes in the garage. I doubt anything would happen to them but you never know. I did have someone steal a wreath off our front door :notsure:

Yeah I used to worry about someone coming in a stealing my bike too. Theres a lot of money put into it to just have some ass steal it.
Road bikes are damn expensive! I had one years ago i got for around 3000. It was a Giant TCR 2. Full carbon too, but dont remember the components. Some shimano i know that. Well as long as she rides it, should be worth it haha.

Damn I cant believe someone just walked up and stole your wreath! That person looked a little off too.

That's crazy. What security system are you using? I've been pricing around.
