    Anyone here?

First, I want to say how much I like the 4th gen Taco. Had I not paid in full and built up my 2020 3rd gen....I would probably be in a 4th now.

With that said, I'm an avid boat fail fan (youtube) because I'm a boat owner and believe there are more than 50% of boat owners who shouldn't own one. We honestly need to have people get a license to operate a boat imho. And, towing and launch/retrieving a boat should be made a part of that process.

    Case in point.

When I want free entertainment, I go to the boat launch with a chair and lunch.
    Hilarious…..
That being said, I’ve seen launches with gunk on them that are worse than ice.
Should be smart enough to say nope, not today..
I did tandom tow a guy in a 2wd truck that just couldn’t quite get over the lip.

Back in the 1980s and the days when kids could ride their bikes anywhere unsupervised, I used to love visiting the local marina. Cool boats to look at, ducks to chase while haphazardly racing up and down the docks on my 10 speed, and a good spot to buy a soda and go for a swim.

So while I'm paying for my soda, some hotshot couple comes rolling up in a paint matched truck/trailer/boat combo. Metallic flake red that hurts your eyes to look at, with a gloss black stripe. The truck's stripe was even aligned with the boat when it was sitting on the trailer. In the 80s, that meant new-money status right there. The owner was right out of a comedy movie too. Loudmouthed, shouting constantly, hair aqua-netted to plastic perfection and of course carefully perfected tan to match, this guy was absolutely berating his wife nonstop. In case they were curious, the entirety of the lake now knew that this woman was incapable of so much as breathing correctly. Everything she did was wrong, was stupid, she's just like her idiot family, you know the drill. This guy hops in the boat and starts running blowers and lights, meanwhile he is relaying instructions to his wife on backing the truck at 150 decibels: turn the wheel, no you moron, turn it correctly, straighten the trailer you whore....

I think she had enough that day. She simply opened the door, stepped out of the truck and walked away. She didn't turn around and watch as it gained speed and went well off the ramp, floating for a few seconds before the whole thing went down. For a few seconds, there was pure silence. Not even a bird chirped.

    "Hat guy had one job."
Well, he failed at putting on a hat and is wearing tights under his shorts. So why did the captain put him in charge of anything but sitting down and shutting the fuck up?

Also does no one use cleats?

It still amazes me that some folks just refuse to put their vehicle in park and set the emergency brake. And now, the 4th Gen is designed to do it automatically when placed in park.

I worked at a yacht club for seven years, great job. However, folks with more money than brains and common sense was pure entertainment. This guy owned a few GNC's - bought a ~36' SeaRay twin outboard and of coursed joined the club. Overall; nice guy, hot trophy side piece, but NO fucking clue how to operate the boat let alone navigate or drive his brandy new C5 corvette. Welp, he mostly used the boat to bang his hottie while at the mooring, can't blame him. One day he decides to venture out in the afternoon early summer here in new England and of course a bit of fog rolled in. Long story short, we get him back in and we were back on shore. However, he cannot get his boat back to the mooring nor does he know how to do it, retrospec ~20yrs later, I should have offered. So this genius decides to bring the boat to our pier/dock during low tide and WAY to shallow for his boat, he drew too much. Welp, he gets stuck and out going tide and Sea-Tow gets involved. Overall, more money than common sense - like many ProBro owners thinking their truck will do it all for them.

But yes...as someone said, if you can have a full time job just recording people at the dock......
