Oh that does suck :( but our luck turned bad.. As I was backing it up the driveway the trailer started screaming. I think one of our hubs are about to go bad.. Greased them up but popped the caps and they are all leaking water. Not sure if thats normal or not but its time for new ones anyway.

Went out yesterday and caught 2 silver salmon. Everyone else I talked to besides one guy at the dock didn't catch any. Next weekend should be better.

Not sure if you can see in the picture but the fog "wall" was so thick that the coast guard were debating on shutting down the port until it cleared a little.

I was first out in the group of boats that left, no one wanted to pass me haha

Didn't think of getting pics of the fish but the winds picked up a lot and seas got to be about 3-3.5ft. Still a good day though, this pic was before the rough seas..

That one burns 10gph at cruising speed, which is above 30mph! What makes no sense is why it's beam is only 8'6.. Could easily be 9-10ft for a 33ft boat

I bought a seadoo Saturday. Went to load my trailer today to pick it up and discovered sense I last used the trailer I've added 3" springs and a plate bumper. laughed out loud when I saw the back of the trailer was one inch from the ground. Had to use my wife's 4 runner. Will be getting a dropped receiver.

Doh. Yeah I have like a 5in drop on mine. Tag still sits a little low to the ground but have not had any issues on the road or at the ramps I've been too so far. With my expos and overload leaf in the back the truck only sags about an inch with the boat if that. I have never measured the actual sag with the boat just and eye ball and using a bud light beer bottle to measure haha

building my dad a new lighting setup for the 44 footer for his birthday..

why: My parents are about to start the 3000+ mile trip. they'll be going to and from shore on the dinghy at night a lot. maneuvering the dinghy to the back of the boat, tying up, and getting back onto the boat can be difficult at night.

Solution: I'm building a self contained box that will house the batteries, electronics, and a solar panel that will control and power a pair of LED flood lights on the back deck of their boat. end goal is that they will be able to turn on lights that will illuminate the transom platform on the back of their boat, and the water surrounding the boat from a couple hundred yards away, using only a small key fob style remote. this will make returning to the boat easier and much safer. solar panel will charge and regulate the batteries, so until the batteries have run the course of their usable life, they will never have to think about anything other than pressing a button when they want light.

    Build starts sunday.......
