What are peoples thoughts on these Body Armor 4x4 Revo Step Sliders? I was debating between side steps and sliders because I want a step but also want the added protection of sliders. I don't plan to off-road heavily so I don't need crazy beefy sliders. These seem to be a happy medium and the price isn't crazy like most sliders, I found a new pair for $550. Does anyone have these/ how have they held up? do you recommend?

This is there detail sheet. I don't plan to off-road heavy at all. But for times I do even the lighter protection is what I'm looking for

Also the Tygers aren't sliders? Aren't they connected to the body of the truck rather than the frame? I don't want that.

Do you know the weight of those out of curiosity? I have been running some light weight aluminum sliders that actually shipped in two pieces. I had to put them together like tent poles and they weight 98 pounds together. Far from rock crawling, hard core sliders but twice they have bounced off of rocks and save the truck from expensive damage. Those you are looking at seem like a no brainer, for what you want them for, over body mount bars.

I have no idea on the weight but once they come in I can weigh them. I assume around 50-60lb each. They seem like good quality from the reviews I've seen so I'm excited that they match what I'm looking for but also are legit sliders. For the price of $540 I don't think I could've found better

By the way I have the Body Armor rear Desert Series bumper. I really love the bumper, I had the front Desert Series bumper also but recently replaced it. I have been pleased with the powder coating and design of the Body Armor products.
