    so let's sum up...

for future reference if 4wp's tells you something don't listen to them lol, seriously btw.

if you want a plate style bumper for a 2nd gen tacoma your list to choose from should look something like this. ARB, Relentless fab, demello as far as i'm concerned they are the best and some of the only that use a true frame strap so that when you winch your not tearing your bumper off your frame.

when looking at a bumper keep in mind the mechanicals behind it as another member mentioned there does not seem to be any place for air to hit the radiator.. that would be a no go for me.

i don't know much about body armor but any company that bolts on recovery point is maybe not doing a lot of field testing imo. that would have been something to notice right off the bat.

when buying components for our trucks we sometimes forget that engineering and know how are the foundation for successful products. so let this be a reminder if your unsure don't be the test guy for their stuff ya know what i mean babe...

that sucks to hear about your truck we all have had problems at some point or another with products we bought to replace factory components. god knows i have had my share so far lol live and learn though bud. send it back and get a refund stating what happened
to your truck take pics as well.

I wasn't concerned with the order. My point was simply that ATO needs to be on that list. Put it at the end if you like.

True; I don't know about their mounting methods, but everything else they make is extremely well built.

There are plenty of aftermarket bumpers that will last a long time (ATO, CBI, ARB, Relentless, Elite). These bumpers are built by quality companies that put alot of beef in them.

i finaly got it lined up not exact on both sides but its not hitting the fenders now . I took it complety apart took a die grinder to all the mounting points to allow for adjustment belive it or not i even had to open up the holes behind the recovery points but its there to stay:mad:
