So everyone here who has something to say has never made a purchase they wanted to go back on? Or regretted a decision? He is here for some advice. I think that this forum has plenty of information to give without a so much crap. Cut the guy some slack, and help a fellow Tacoma owner out.

I don't think its that we don't want to help him. EVERYONE makes mistakes. Its the fact that we can not understand WHAT THE FUCK HE IS SAYING in order to help him.

    Here you go buddy.

I did some research on bumpers until I found the one I wanted. My first mistake was paying too much for it. After 3 weeks of waiting, it arrived. Like anyone else with a new part I was ready to put it on. First, I took off the stock bumper which was pretty simple. Next was to try and install the new one. This thing weighed a ton so I called for backup. We wrestled with it and got it close but it just wasn't going. The 6 studs were nowhere close to the holes that they had drilled. So, out came the die grinder which opened the holes up. Finally, it was on. It was now banging the crap out of my fenders so I got in touch with Body Armor. Some help they were! They told me to adjust it. Yeah right! After two hours of "adjusting" I was really getting pissed off! There was very little, if any, adjustability. The driver's side didn't move but the passenger side dropped an inch or more and ended up busting my grill. Word to the wise...keep the stock bumper or stay away from body armor :brianr:

OP, Im still baffled by how much hell you have received from this. There MUST be something seriously wrong with your order or something seriously wrong with your truck. You should not have that much trouble with this bumper. Has your truck ever been in a serious front end collision? Like Magikbean asked, are you 100% sure they sent you the correct bumper? I would definitely try contacting Body Armor again and again and again and again until I found out what the problem was. This is unacceptable! You should seriously consider taking some pictures so that someone here with experience with these bumpers can help you out!

Sounds like a bad luck..:( I was about to buy their rear bumper with tire carrier option.. It's the only one that can be shipped overseas with descent price tag on the shipping. Not sure if I want to go with their product now..

You're thinking of road armor. Different armor.

I like the smaller fab shops. You get a better (and better looking) bumper for less money. My front cost me far less than road armor, and I'll take the Pepsi challenge with them any day.

the front bumper total shipping and all was around 700 i would not recomend it at all its tuff and all but all i went through to get it close was a pain n the butt. No accidents the car fax came back clean i also took it to several body shops to let them look it over after i bought the truck .its just a bad product

Doesn't even match your front fenders.. And damn that thing is to big for the truck. What made you choose them so badly?
