Saw a lot of Qs about whether these fit access cabs or not with no real confirmation of anyone purchasing and trying them out. Not asking someone to take one for the team unless they absolutely want to. Just curious if anyone has tried them and can confirm one way or another. Thanks in advance!

Just installed my rock steps and I love them. I used two 5 gallon buckets and it took me about one hour to install them. Check out the pictures.

Would these protect against door dings? Do these sit any lower than the oem bars?

Yes and no on protection. Only the steps sit outside the body lines so anywhere in the center is fair game to potential door dings and of course if the door opening into you ride happens to be higher than the steps. As far as sitting lower than the OEM bars, no, these fit more snug and flush to the cab base. OEM bars have a couple inches of drop.

Just so you guys know I also have the Body Armor step/sliders and yes the lights are optional. Also they don't have a way to mount them like in the picture other than sticky tape. Plus they would look funny sitting out on the step like in the pictures. I bought them and mounted them under the steps (puddle lights). The cool thing is the are two different colors (amber and white). So you can wire them to light up in all kinds of different ways.

Also they do not come with the rubber pads for each step. I ordered them separately along with the lights. As for the pads... do not use the supplied srews. They will rust immediately. I used them and found out the hard way. Then I went to Lowes and bought some SS bolts and they work and look great if you like the studded look.

$210, not scuffed at all, they're in great shape and came with a very nice, thick, powder coat already on them. they are a little dirty however... but its an off road truck so that happens lol

Ahhh screw the pads. I went to home depot, bought some no skid texture tape. Cut it to size and presto. Can't even tell it's there.

Overall they are pretty decent. A little on the heavy side but I'd give them at 8 out of 10.
