I'm considering this rack also, to carry a lightweight 12' sailboat. Has anyone installed it on a regular cab? If so, can you post a picture? I'd like to see how it looks since all the images online are access cabs.

I realize this is old as hell, but I’m about to build something similar. Did you utilize the roof rack holes to mount feet for the rack portion to the cab?

I would assume that's a terrible idea, as there could always be a little twisting/flexing between the cab and the bed if offroading

    crap bolted and welded together....
Do not do that... when I ran that rack it was fully supported off the bed. I drilled through the bed rails, plated the underside and such to hold that overhung weight.

I'd like to second this request and ask if ANYONE has pictures of this rack on their truck. I have looked all over and only found a handful of not so great photos. Videos ????An install video or even a walk around would be nice.

I was going to have the Body Armor 4X4 Sport Rack custom installed on my Ridgeline, but realized I should have purchased the long bed version. I wanted to make my Ridgeline as cool as a Tacoma (if that's even possible), but I leaned the hard way that it's easier to remove to shorten length and by removing sections of tube rather than lengthen by adding material. Now I have the entire Rack System (with over cab basket and hardware) that cost me closer to $700. Will list it on Craigslist if anyone is interested.
