Hello! New to the forum and new to the Oklahoma group. I live in Ada. Was wondering if y’all knew of anyone that could perform the body mount chop and weld a new plate in Oklahoma or even DFW area and above? Any help/guidance would be much appreciated.

Posted in the Texas group as well and Tandem off-road was suggested. They are outside of fort worth for those interested.

Hi WreckedRooster, well to TW and Oklahoma. Now why would anyone come to Oklahoma? As for shops to work on your truck and the cab mount shop, I have no suggestion. I never let anyone work on my truck because if something goes wrong then I am the only one to blame. Plus if you take it apart you then know how to put it back together. That is the hope at least.

Being in Ada, you might also ask a local welder to do the cab mount chop. Should be a couple dozen oil field welders close by. You can always do the cutting and grinding yourself. Just have the local welder install the plates.

    Good Luck to you!

Thanks! And those were my thoughts as well. I can do the cutting and the painting/cleaning up. Just need someone to do the welding for me. Going to talk to a local body guy I know and see if he can help me out. Thanks again!

If anyone is still looking for a BMC in Oklahoma, Offroad Addiction in Oklahoma City has done some great work for me in the past. They’re primarily a Jeep place, but they’ve done a couple great taco builds too.
