Body lift GAP GAURD INSTALL!

Well most of you guys that know what these are may not understand how to install them properly. On some pick up trucks the rear bed and fender come together into into a pinch weld and you can drill or use self tapping screws to attach the rear one's. But the 1st gen taco has a tub type bed and there is no pinch weld to use. so most decent gap guard kits come with rear sub-frames you hold in place and tighten them and depending on your body curve. Then you remove them and weld them into a solid bar\piece and then tack weld that sub-frame to the bed supports and fender tub at rear most upper part. Once welded into place you can put 1 clip in and adjust and trim as needed.

The rears are a little tricky to line up due to the holes already in the gap-gaurds. I just cut the clips shorter and plugged the extra holes with them. The front's fit perfectly.
