Has anyone yet been able to find a way to reposition the rear bumper for a 1-inch body lift? Any ideas?

I would cut the bumper bracket, bolt one part to each frame rail, then lift up bumper where it needs to go with the bumper brackets butted up against one another, tack weld together, add a couple gussets for strength, bingo bongo your done,

If u search some of the companies that sell the body lifts, they may have a bracket that is already made for that particular lift

No, they don't have it yet. Honestly, I don't know why they don't offer one when that gap makes so many people to avoid BLs.

Ur far from me so I can't help u out, unless u wanna ship me ur brackets and I can modify them and ship them back, it's a long shot but it will be cheaper than a welder, or if u cut them and get them ready for welding I'm sure a fab shop will weld them for u

Thanks, man! That's very nice of you! Maybe I can buy some extra brackets and modified them as you subjected. Can you show me in this photo which brackets? By the way I have the factory hitch.

I believe you'll need 5, 6. This does not include the work to the hitch, all holes in hitch will have to be drilled 1 inch lower than the original to raise it up one inch. It can be done easily with the proper tools. Also, 5, 6 will have to be cut vertically and skewed the 1 inch, weld and gusset. Any questions feel free to PM me.

When it gets dark I'll try and take some with the flash, otherwise you can't see squat.
The diagram u supplied shows the bumper set up without the hitch, if u have the hitch, its alittle different, I'll have to climb under mine and see, I'll let u know

All right! Thanks buddy! yes, I have the hitch and I will like to keep it if possible. I found this on Ebay. Does this look like the part that you modified? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bumper-Bra...-Rear-Right-Side/233069634906?epid=1475767659

That looks like it, but I didn't mod mine, but have done similar jobs to other trucks, I haven't decided on a body lift or not, after looking at mine (06 DCSB PRERUNNER) It looks like u could put 1 inch spacers where the bumper shell mounts to the bumper brackets at the top, including where the hitch mounts to the bumper, you would need longer bolts and need to shorten the bottom tabs by 1 inch. That would put your bumper up the 1 inch but your hitch would be in the og position. That's just another solution without a welder
