Who's changed their body mount bushings? How much of a pain in the ass is it? Can you lift the cab far enough to change the bushings without unhooking all kinds of stuff?

I rebuilt my entire front end and have a clunk that I'm pretty certain is the worn out body mounts. Trying to decide if I'll do it or let a shop have my money

I did it by myself. Do one side at a time and use 2x4 pieces between the cab and frame to hold it while you switch them out. You have to get the cab up about 4" to get them out.

Did lifting the body that far off of the frame pose any other issues? Any wiring or lines that were stressed because of this?

Nope, just keep an eye on them. There is enough flex in everything that you won't do any damage.

Thanks! Will likely give this is a try on my next days off. This clunk is annoying to say the least
