For example. 3” kit and you stuff a 285/70/17 in there and you wanna be off roading and you have cut the body mounts and trim stuff so you don’t rub all over the place , just run 285/65/17 or the equivalent and you don’t have to do all that. You have more room for tire travel.

Gotta love a guy in a PreRunner giving off-roading advice.

Just run the correct number of differentials.

Wasn’t off road advice. Guess you could just take the f...ing fenders off too and just stuff whatever size you want. Just saying if you have to start chopping shit up to fit tire. Maybe put a tire that doesn’t require that I assure I’ve lifted plenty off 4wd trucks I’ve owned and never had to chop it up just cause I wanted damn 1/2 “ taller tire. More less cut a damn body mount off relocate it have to drill a new hole in the floor. But then again you probably staple a extension cord to the wall and call it electrical work.

You come into a thread full of those wanting to push the limits of their rigs. People who enjoy modding, fabricating, and, improving the off roading capabilities of their trucks. Just to tell them that they should just “run the correct size tire”?

Other than coming off as a total tool, what are you hoping to accomplish?

Because you lack the ability to make larger tires fit, and fully cycle with the suspension, I suppose you feel better just spouting off that it’s dumb for anyone else to do so. If it makes you feel better, carry on.

Here is my “extension cord stapled to the wall”

Fully cycled 37s that don’t rub anything.

I’m done with you now. Have fun continuing to just bolt things to your PreRunner. I will continue stapling shit to walls.

My tires aren't just 1/2" taller. I think they are nearly 6" taller than what I started off with. That comes out to about 3" more ground clearance. That is pretty huge in my book.
