    Lot's of stuff (-;
    Right now he's got the front bumper for the 1st and 2nd gen Tacoma's along with the relocate kit. He's hoping to develop some sliders and armor along with a few other things. Great guy to work with! He can make just about anything.

    Got my mounts today. They arrived a day ahead of schedule. Got sent out Monday (WA) and arrived Wed (GA).

    The are some Beefy mounts and looks straight forward.

    NOTE** in the first pic on this thread, you see the additional goldish bolts and crush washers, etc. This kit DOES NOT come with those. I asked Gary if I was missing some components and basically he said ppl were tellin him they didnt use those additional bolts, they just reused the OEM bolts so he quit including them. This makes sense from a business standpoint, cutting costs if buyers aren't using the product anyway. And at 89$, this is a STEAL for the quality and ease this set up makes the project.

    Well done!

    def not discouraging you from this, I think it's WAY worth it.

    But you dont HAVE to have this for 35's. I just did the CMC and flatten the pinch weld with a big hammer and I've been running 35's with no body lift or anything (just about 2.5" suspension lift with Fox Factory series 2.5's) for about 2 yrs now. For the ppl that swear it cant be done, they are either ill-experienced with their truck or just ignorant to what mods MUST be done vs NICE to be done.

    having said that, you wont regret these, they will make it a little "easier" once its said and done (this is more invasive than just the CMC and pinch weld flatten).

    is there a reason why the body bolt is upside down? I have seen this in a few pics now.

    On the stock body mount, the bolt that ties the body to the bushing is threaded side down, with the nut attached. The bolt head is located inside the cab.

    In the pic above, the bolt head is visible, so the nut and threads up facing up, inside the cab???

    Is there something I am missing? I am about to do this project and planning on running it like the stock bolts. below is my mock up...anything look wrong?

    mock up.jpg

    (of course the stock bolt wont protrude that low since it will be going through the body a little bit also)
