Filing a report with a local PD about a Federal Officer is laughable - it would not be worth the paper written on. Preemption - look it up. I have filed numerous reports with the TSA, speaking with the TSA at the origin airport and destination airport (because it's not like we had unlimited time at the origin airport...)

Please, NK is an attention-mongering regime. Giving them the attention they want won't help anything. Sometimes the best thing to do is ... nothing [openly/publicly]

Damn Right we do!!!!!!!! Ron Paul is the only politician that has the CORRECT answers to the problems our country and economy face right now.

Ron Paul predicted everything that has happened to our economy way back in the 2008 elections, and yet people laughed him off the stage and said he was crazy! Remember that?

But how did he predict it? Well there are many ways but a simple one is that its all happened before, pretty simple shit if the public knew its history......oh but then again they havent taught true History in the public school system for quite some time now.

To everyone who says "If you don't like it, don't fly."

Next step for body scanners could be trains, boats, metro

The next step in tightened security could be on U.S. public transportation, trains and boats.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says terrorists will continue to look for U.S. vulnerabilities, making tighter security standards necessary.

“[Terrorists] are going to continue to probe the system and try to find a way through,” Napolitano said in an interview that aired Monday night on "Charlie Rose."

“I think the tighter we get on aviation, we have to also be thinking now about going on to mass transit or to trains or maritime. So, what do we need to be doing to strengthen our protections there?”

So, once they have check points at every access point for any type of public transportation, what's to stop them from putting checkpoints along our nations interstates to stop and search people's personal vehicles? I mean, if you think about it, someone could be carrying a car bomb in the family minivan.

If you guys can't see the very real possibility that we're slowly turning into a police state, you're blind. You might want to get use to the phrase "show me your papers."

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    they already are in AZ...ZING!

public mass transportation is one thing and POVs are another. do you realize how many bodies it would take in order to support anything like that on every interstate or to search every vehicle? for a positive note, that would bring the unemployment rate down:D

Here is a good article about how the DHS is planning to implenment screening for public forms of transportation and how they consider anyone who speaks out about screening as domestic extremeists.
    http://www.examiner.com/conservative-in-national/part-2-government-assault-on-free-speech-free-press

If we give the government an inch they will take a foot. For all who argue and say it is not a big deal, this is only a nudge. Other rights that you care about will be infringed upon, maybe not tomorrow but i bet you anything in our life time. You will care when they come to take your guns, or your speech, or right to assemble. Don't ever forget who is the servant and who is the master. These days we are the servants and they are the masters. Study our history, where we have come from and where we are headed. What we were founded on and where we actually stand now. How slowly over time we have gone from a free nation of sovereign individuals to a country of more and more central control over every aspect of our lives. Choose what you want, but I believe that individual liberty and a constitutional republic where the power lies in the people is far better than a centrally controlled government where a small group of elites dictates our lives from afar. What is the point in living if we are not free.

    Amen!

Many just refuse to accept that the government really doesn't work for us so much as it works for itself and special interests.

Corruption involving lobbyists like Michael Chertoff, former Homeland Security Secretary are part of the reason the full body scanners have such a distinct role. Jonh Pistole, current TSA head is equally corrupt.

I will sacrifice no liberties for a sense of security... ever - even with the TSA's checkpoints, I never assume the plane is 'secure,' because they are simply an incompetent agency with even less competent employees.

Even better, Chertoff advocated hardcore for these scanners while HSS under Bush, and now profits from their sale to the Federals:

    http://www.wcvarones.com/2010/11/tsas-nude-scanners-former-homeland.html

That's right folks...he got into the gubbermint, told them they needed this equipment, then quit to sell it to them.

Still don't think the rich rule the world?

To clarify, these X-RAY machines CAN NOT detect many explosives! Hence these machines create a truly false sense of security.

The first statement is a fact proven by ... The Government Accountability Office

An Israeli Security Expert punched an even larger hole in these worthless machines use:

"I don't know why everybody is running to buy these expensive and useless machines. I can overcome the body scanners with enough explosives to bring down a Boeing 747 ... That's why we haven't put them in our airport [in Israel]."

And terrorists will always be at least one step ahead of the bloated bureaucracy that runs our 'security.' Maybe we should all conceal weapons, not to be terrorists but rather to be counter-terrorists should an actual terrorist find a way to bring their weapons on board. What am I kidding, they probably already have, they're just debating what they want to do...

TSA has not stopped a single terrorist from getting on plane. They have violated millions of American's rights. And more and more TSA agents are getting arrested for stealing thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of property from passengers. Just like George Washington said, Government is not reason, Government is force.

And the bad news is is that terrorists don't even have to step foot in America anymore to cause damage. Look at what has happened to our country since 9/11. More and more of our liberties have been shit on, and our economy is imploding. I would say so far the "terrorists" are winning the war. Next you are going to tell me there are WMDs in Iraq, and the Taliban attacked the US.
