hello! I’m new to the forum and need some of y’all opinion. I’ve had a body shake on my 16 dclb. I’ve taken it in and gotten some bs answer that it’s the road. Just curious would this cause my truck to wobble this is at the front under the drive shaft 21421961-B1F8-4D6F-A221-FB316892221D.jpg

Have you had your alignment checked? Its amazing how much of a shake/wobble you can get by it being out of alignment a small amount.

Also check your tyres for a piece of gravel stuck in the tyre. I’ve had one piece of gravel wedged in and it felt like the truck was falling apart.

If you have been in any muddy areas check the back of the wheels. Mud tends to build up there and not release. Btw the rim and tyre by the back bead. Where i work the mud is so tacky it wont come off on its own, you need to sit there with a pressure washer for a bit to blast it off.

you may have also thrown a tyre weight for balancing off the rim

Death wobble comes from the Solid Front axle designed vehicles, like the fords and jeeps...

Looks like the cross member to the transmission. OP. Look at that metal plug looking thing that hangs down and see if their is a hole where that is suppose to set down into. Might just not be aligned properly.. My guess. Ill have to look at my truck when I get under it next time.

Awesome!! Lots of great responses. I get a bad shake in the cab. Not the steering wheel and it happens on certain stretches of freeway. I’ve had my truck aligned several times. I just got a wild hair and looked under the truck. It appears the rubber is cracked and missing half of it. I’ll have to check some more. It’s been a pain trying to figure it out because the mechs aren’t sure what they’re looking for and I get it gets expensive swapping out parts. I’ve also had a clack:click noise when I hit dips. Not sure if they’re related but warranty have replaced left strut right lower control arm. So annoying but I’m going to take it when I can. Thanks again everyone

Took a pic of mine for you...
The rubber on yours looks like it's streched.
Do you still have the top piece? Looks like it's supposed to limit travel.
