I have a 2009 LB DBLCB and it's White. I hate white but the truck was too good of a deal to pass up. I was thinking about repainting it with a flat black. But thought wrapping might be a better idea.
Have any of you done a full wrap? How much did it cost and how has the life of the wrap been on it?

    Cheers!

Following - I have an 07 indigo ink thats faded really bad. I want to wrap in a flat dark blue. Curious on price / durability.

Also any pros / cons on a wrap vs truck bed liner paint job?

You're looking at $4k to have it wrapped and the wrap will need to be replaced in 5 years

Do it yourself for about $700. Not too hard, just takes time.

Cost me $2k canukistan doll hairs to get my rig wrapped matte black. I am on year 4 of the wrap. Had it wrapped to protect the stock paint while I bush wack the ball sack off it.:cookiemonster:

Not 1 rip or tear yet.

With sweet ghosted decals on the ass end. Just a sticker under the wrap.

Wrap you can pull of, bed liner is permanent.

Ive got my hood and roof done and in San Diego going rate was $300.
$1500 to wrap whole truck..bear in mind a good company would need to remove headlights, badges, and roof antenna to do it right if you plan on doing whole truck. Guy told me if you garage it, plan on having the vinyl last 7 yrs, un-garaged about 5.. Your mileage may vary if you don't keep it clean, beat it up, etc.

I had mine wrapped about a year and a half ago now and it's holding up surprisingly well for the abuse I've put it through ... plus VA salts the roads during the winter here. Cost for everything was 2500 but when you start shopping around you'll see that price can vary a ton.

There was one guy I know that paid 750 for some high quality stuff. He did the wrap himself (first time he ever did wrap) and it came out amazing. Took him about 8 days at 7-10 hours a day.

Approx $500 to do just the truck. $200 or so extra to do the camper.

Did it my self and completely stripped the truck to do it right.

Got a write up on my build thread on the first page. Should be post #2!

    It's true...but it's WHITE. I named my truck Puffy Marshmellow for a reason. :/

A flat dark grey would be awesome.
