bogging in first, will not idle

    i got in my 98 tacoma after school and it was not idling smoothly and after a few minutes of driving everytime i came to a stop it would die. I also noticed it would bog down in first and was jumpy and jerky when accelerating sometimes. do i need a new cat? any suggestions im stumped...
