    An oddball question but does anyone know what size bolts are used to secure the steering rack to the chassis, size, thread pitch and length? I need to raise my rack a bit to help with tie rod angles after lowering the truck. I can find the torque specs no problem but cannot find a part number or dimensions for the actual bolts anywhere. I know I can just pull one out and measure it but was hoping someone already knew the specs.

    Holy shit! I didn't think anyone would actually be able to answer the question. Now I can pre-order the bolts and make spacers to put in with the new bushings I just orders.

    Thank you!

    Hey hemi, question for you. I see in this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/steering-rack-bolt-help.384265/ someone listed the A0137 steering rack bolt for 2WD (prerunner in my case) and A0135 for 4WD. Toyotapartsdeals is saying the fitment is inverse for me though, with A0135 being correct. I would assume the bolts for 4WD would be longer than for 2WD. I noticed you were looking for part numbers for these bolts in another thread.

    You said your bolts were longer so my question is- is that because you ordered the longer bolts? If so, do you remember which p/n it was?

    Ah gotcha. That may still end up being helpful if I can find info on those xrunner ones. Thanks either way

    Just a follow up from my last post.

    The other thread said;
    90119-A0135 is longer and for 4WD
    90119-A0137 is shorter and for 2WD

    Went to the dealership and they said for my truck (prerunner) it’s A0135. The gave me the following bolt which measures 6” (shaft) or 6.5” (top to bottom).

    I haven’t pulled the yet but assuming they are in fact the same, the prerunner uses the longer bolt even though it’s 2WD.
