I stripped the threads in the hole when cranking one of the bolts on the 4x4 splash guard after an oil change:

I was in a rush to get it done so I let it be, but now I want to fix it.
    I've tracked down the bolt:

Id like to order a tap so that I can redo the threads, but I cant find the dimensions (diameter and pitch) anywhere, does anyone know them?
I could find my calipers and crawl under there but I feel like the information has to exist somewhere.

    thanks

You could take the bolt up to HD or Lowes. They have those panels with the different threaded studs and sleeves that you can test your hardware in. They're in the hardware aisle. It's all labeled.
