Bolt-In Ford 9" (or comparable) with Disc Brakes, ABS Sensor?

    That sounds like a pretty marginal upgrade tbh. The ring gear is still 8 inches on those give or take and I’ll need to regear and install a selectable locker.

    Can confirm, ring gear size is exactly the same at 8” but it still a good bit stronger because of the trussed carrier bearings, and 12 bolt (IIRC) ring gear pattern. They don’t break nearly as much as the older 8” Toyota axle. I destroyed the stock one in my truck as well, swapped in an entire axle from an SR5 and installed a Harrop locker. This is all with 4.10 gears and 33” tires. Going strong for 7 years now.

    then the trundra seems like a deal.
    i still rock my 8.4 on my taco with 4.88s on 35s and a truck that weights over 7k. also tow up to 6k with it lol.
