Ohh and it's really easy to screw up the rear diff cover on our trucks. Ask me how I know. All you have to do is roll back into a rock and it will cave into the ring gear and then your stuck. Been there done that. Had to pull the rear wheels, axle shafts, driveshaft, and 3rd member on the trail and beat the cover back out so the ring gear wouldn't grind a hole in it. NOT FUN

I don't know. It's for an FJ Cruiser and you'll have to see if the Tacoma/FJ differentials are the same. I would tend to believe if the diffs are the same, it should work. I found that by searching google....I don't know anything else about it.

Other than that.... give them a phone call and ask them. If you order one - and it doesn't fit, ASK them if you can return it. Or, you can do some modifications/fabrication to make it work.

weld on rear diff skids are cheap to buy. the main things for offroading where most damage will occur are sliders, belly skids, and bumpers.

Weld on rear diff would be an easy first add on then.
    Any suggestions aside from AllPro?

I like the Beefed sliders, but turn around time is quite long.

beefed and relentless both make good sliders that are small business. i think that all pooh would be ok for the rear diff skid as it doesnt see much action. i've had mine on for close to 2 years and i dont think i've taken a hit to it. it also covers up higher than the skye one i believe.

I have a Boztec Bolt on Diff Skid, and I love it. It bolts up really easy, it has a great fit, and keeps a low profile. They don't have the Taco or 4runner skids online, but they have them. These pics aren't that great but here you go...
