Bolt-on side steps suggestions

Hey guys, had a quick question. I've been interested in getting some side steps for my Taco and I like the looks of the predator. What would be a good price from the dealer for these since my wife wants me to buy new (I don't mind used, but not worth an argument, lol). Also are there better options that you guys would recommend. Must be direct bolt on, I dont want to drill, cut or move anything. If you think something else would be the way to go, then post the info and pics! Thanks!

 

They are 600 bucks from dealer way over priced they came on mine dealer would not remove and deduct from price .

I am getting sliders soon and wanted to sell mine but a rock broke the steps off the passenger side the first time out with them on and now not worth anything.

Search Craigslist and here they show up pretty regular just need to watch and be ready when they do.

You can get Predators cheap in the marketplace section of TW.

 

Get some bolt on rock sliders... just do it right the first time. Wish i would have. Now sliders are on my to do list again.

Can you give some brand names of bolt on sliders so I can do some internet research? I’m in the same boat. Was gonna get the OEM running boards but now I’m thinking I should just do it right. I don’t off road for fun, but I do drive through pastures, hunting, etc. I’m afraid I’d have those OEM running boards bent up in no time.

 

I couldn't find any used predators local so I ended up getting mine new off eBay for $500 shipped

 

I'm leaning towards the c4fab rocksliders. I like the ones with filler plates so i can have the wife and kid use as steps. I also like how the plates have TRD 4x4 lasered out. Powdercoated black looks great.

 

I sold my Predator steps I had for $150 on here. They had a little rash from offroading but nothing anyone would notice unless on a lift.

 

CBI AND RCI are two reputable manufacturers for this stuff.

Was just gonna say the same as their sliders are true 100% bolt on with no drilling or cutting necessary.

 

Design and customer service is important. But also pay attention to location because shipping on sliders is not cheap. Our lead times are 6-8 weeks right now. And I am not sure if you are a returning customer or military, but we offer 10% off to both.
