Bolt-on Slider Install Issue

I have a set of bolt on sliders that I plan to install soon. They bolt onto the frame, not the body. The passenger side should be no problem. However, a few of the holes in the frame on the drivers are partially blocked by two pieces of metal tubing (not sure what they are for). The tubing is held in place by plastic brackets that clip into holes in the frame. Does anyone know of any aftermarket holders that I can use that would give me enough adjustment to route the tubing above or below holes in the frame?

It's the brake line for the rear. I just easily bent them slightly out of the way and fed that particular bolt from the inside of the frame out so the lines wouldn't be resting against the remaining bolt threads.

doesnt know what the "metal tubes" are for, but is installing sliders. i yi yi.....

either way dont crease the lines, bend them gently, and put some extra bit of hose around them if they are even close to the bolt heads. You obviously dont want to wear a hole through a brake line.

 

Just glad to see you figured it out, it will help when I go to do mine.

 

Get some 1/4" rubber fuel line from the local auto parts store, cut a slit in them, and wrap them around the brake line. You can also shift the brake line by one slot in the plastic holder in some locations (check out the left holder in the photo):

Like others have stated, this will reduce the height of the protrusion inside of the frame, You will will need to clearance the brake lines but it will be much easier this way.

Im not trying to be a smart ass.... but if you cant take the 30 secs and simply go hmm... let me see where these lines go and either trace them up to the master cylinder / abs module, or back to the rear drums to figure out where they go, then yeah your gonna get a smart ass answer and concern if you are going to be qualified to put w/e it is onto the frame. Last thing id want is a brake line to get rubbed through or get pinched during install and down the road and you smash into someone.
