Do you just bolt them right to the frame or do you rub the areas of contact down with grease, lube, oil, or anti seize before bolting them to the frame for rust preventive measures?

I put anti-seize on mine but we have a lot of wet weather here on the west coast. Gone through two winters now without any issues of rust. Cheep insurance for sure....

On initial install, use whatever lube you on the bolts, nuts and washers. Once installed, apply some type of corrosion preventative compound as others are coating their frames to prevent corrosion. After that, I would apply that coating once per year or more often if needed to prevent corrosion between the frame rail and slider.

I was just going to rub a light coat of oil over the frame and inside the slider mounting plates. rust isn't a huge issue where I live in GA so it's not that concerning. Just wanted to know if it was a common thing for those with bolt ons
