 has anyone actually looked at and/or considered the actual design and methodology of these sliders, they mount to the frame and body/cab? dumbasses or is it just me. is really a good idea to mount a slider to the body seam?

I have a set of N-Fabs on my Quad Cab that bolt like that, and they are really sturdy, I was surprised. If we did end up with these, for a decent price, I was going to weld some gussets on them, and also weld them to the frame.

I made him state that on the first page and figured people would draw their own conclusions from there :)

I'll bet they stop shopping carts like a boss

My nerf bars bolt to the cab also and, although they are sturdy, if you came off a ledge and dropped the truck onto them, the cab would be taking all the force, not the frame. It's a great mounting point for steps, not so much for sliders.

I updated my original post about the seller. Never received the grille, but did get a full refund from PayPal.

Moral of the story: don't buy from this idiot.
