BOLT THREAD SIZE

    does anybody know the bolt thread description of the OEM threaded holes underneath the rocker panel where factory steps or boards attach ?
    i am going to be fabbing my own steps and need to buy some attaching hardware.

    I don't know but it's probably just like another bolt on the truck (diameter and pitch). Find one that looks about right elsewhere in the truck and try it out. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same as the ones on either frame rail that holds a silver bracket. Look at your frame rail below your front door and see if there is a silver bracket. Take that bolt out and see if it fits. Or, just go to Toyota and order the bolt set for the step rails. You may be able to find the micro-fiche for that part of the body and it may show what size those bolts are.

    Nothing too helpful. Just options.
