bolting storage chest to bed

    Hello Forum,

    I have a couple of question for those of you (like taco084gb) who decided to bolt a storage chest in your bed.
    How did you do it?
    Did you just drill screws from the top down through the bed or did you run bolts?
    Do you need one in each corner of the chest or are two accross from each other enough?

    I have not done this myself, but with the bed being a composite, I'd use some kind of plate or huge fender washers on both sides of the bolt holes to help reinforce things a bit.
