Well said. On the flip side, off roading is not my cup of tea but I like the ride height and looks of a 4X4. I just envy the west coast guys because I could get into moding my truck for the desert.

Mine's bone stock for now, but that's more due to lack of funds for mods...

Aside from not having the BFGs anymore mine looks exactly the same as when I bought it...except for the customized rear bumper I got from getting hit about a month ago.

It is as far as the suspension and drive train which is what I was meaning. I guess it is more accessorized so I should of been a little more clear.;)

there you go! my grandma's grand marquee is bone stock.

IMHO, as soon as you drop something like a K&N in your truck, you are modified :p

Everyone saying "bone stock, but with....." this just in, if you follow "bone stock" with "but with" its not bone stock. Having a aftermarket air filter, new shocks and offroad lights does not count as bone stock.

Ok are you dumb...stock except essentials...but you have a 5 inch lift and bigger tires and wheels...that's not stock! And a 5 inch lift hardly counts as essential...essential would be a bedliner, or a trailer hitch if it didn't come with one...and that's about it

I guess "unmodified suspension, engine and body 1st Gens" would of been a better title. :D

Wow insulting someone when you are the one that wasnt intelligent enough to realize it was sarcasm. And by the way your "essentials" are based on your needs. I have no reason for a bedliner OR a trailer hitch

Oops, that one completley flew right over my head at 3 am, sorry. Ok, now that I look at it again not at 3am it does seem a bit sarcastic...sorry again man

Haha getting a little serious there huh? Not picking up on sarcasm in a post on the internet...not like THAT'S ever happened before.

Also for refrence and to actually contribute and not be an asshole, this is my 99 when I bought it, it was bone stock as bone stock can get. Not having a single mod or replaced part at all is a given, but it still had all 5 origional tires from the factory.

I cleaned mine up beautifully with the 3M kit, however due to no clear coat application - they're back to yellow/haze again.

The best way is to just pony up for some aftermarket headlight assemblies that cost a little more than these restoration kits

I've considered it but it's not high on my priority list at the moment. once the money tree out back starts blooming, i'll order it.

Meguiar's PlastX is under $10 and works wonders, especially if you have a DA buffer. If not, good old fashioned elbow grease is free.

I'd like to consider mine bone-stock, but after 251,600 miles you need to replace a few things. So instead of replacing with OEM parts that are crazy expensive, I installed a few aftermarket parts to save money. I'll never lift it though or put on huge tires.

    Bone stock.

    Only thing I did is:

    Topper
    Debadge, de-decal
    Waterhog floor mats all around

    Soon to happen:

replace beat up rear bumper with 45acp's painted stock bumper
replace horrid 98-00 center console assembly with Kuneff's 01-04 center console assembly
