    Here is one of my long time favorites. I can never get over the sound that a rotary engine makes especially this 787b. Too bad some folks decided to ban these engines from most races. The biggest being Le Mans 24hr.

    Couldnt agree more, a buddy of mine is almost done with his single turbo set up on his 93 RX7. I think he should be at about 425-450hp. Rotary is just in a league of its own.

    I can appreciate any engine making noise... hell i loved the sound my leaf blower made after I took the muffler out to clean the spark arrestor so much I never put it back in. I gotta say though those twin turbo imports that go screaming away spitting fire really get me. Those rally cars are nuts... and the fans are even more nuts. Anyway here's some of my findings

    That is a rare sound indeed. I listened to this car in person at Laguna Seca when they revved it like that. It shakes the ground causes irregular heartbeats. The sickest sound I've ever heard.
