Currently it is -16C in SW Ontario so it is tooo damn cold to be taking my dash apart to design a mock up of a bracket. Hoping in a few weeks when things start to thaw I can pull the radio and start working on this.
I will post here once I get a prototype built in order to notify everyone that it is in the works.

Where the rail is tapped for the Ram mounts, does the bezel need to be drilled there as well to provide clearance for the threaded end of the mount to extend through?

    Nope.
My design has the 5x holes pre-threaded to install the mounts. This make installation time faster as well as not compromising the integrity of the bezel by drilling a bunch of holes in it. Also, I provide a thin rubber washer with the ball mount so although it does come close to the plastic it does not bottom out into the plastic.
Note, the ball mount should always be hand tightened only.

So alot like the DMM @FreshMexicanTaco created added small feature where it wrapps.around the side and removed an important one.that helps his be so stabil an secure.

Sorry, while I think there is room for competition an even improvements. I think the DMM is superior based on the pictures i have seen here and my personal experience with the DMN both on road and many mile offroad with it holding multiple items.

If you feel yours is better, and want a real test send me a pm and we talk details

    Check build thread!
Can confirm the part is well made and looks awesome in real life. Will get to installing it next Sunday when I’m back from Quebec.

I have briefly looked at designing a mounting plate for the left. It is possible to design one but the issue is fastening it securely to the vent bezel. There is not much material there to work with.

Cool product but the multiple bumps per day are a little excessive and come off a bit desperate, IMO.

Thank you. I was thinking this was a violation of pretty standard rules for BST.

These are clean, the fit looks good & the fact it's nearly invisible except for the ball mount is really nice.
I'd be interested but the problem, and probably the reason for weeks of bumps, is at $145+ it's much to expensive. Similar options out there sell for less than half and achieve the same result.
