Just starting this because it's about to get serious for my standards and trying to keep track of everything.

Trying to reverse all the previous owner's Pro-Comp mall crawler mods. Short story, my wife actually bought this truck used while stationed in Italy before we met. It already had a lift and rims w/33 inch MTs and a few other addons. I knew nothing about trucks, but I do work on aircraft electrical/environmental systems (decent amount of mechanical skills). I decided to learn once we moved to Hawaii in 2012 to avoid getting raped by local shops. My knowledge started with minor maintenance and has slowly grown into an overland build after convincing the wife. PNW or Germany is the dream after our Hawaii Tour.

Test fitting new grille (thanks @AugustaTaco) and headlights (thanks @Braunschwaga)

Needed to remove the bumper extension bracket in order to get the headlight bolted in.

For anyone doing the conversion with an aftermarket bumper, you still need new brackets that are listed in the conversion threads. The only one you might be able to leave out is the center bracket located in front of the hood lock support. But without it, you lose some stability to the headlight brackets.
    IMG_0263.jpg
    IMG_0265.jpg

As you can see, '12-'15 brackets needed for newer style headlights to fit. Also, the newer bumper filler pieces will not connect.

    Removed bracket to test fit.

I will be updating this more often...

Side note...Been hardcore debating about changing the color of the truck. I hate taking care of black paint! Really want to go dark olive green colored Line-X, but no Line-X dealers on Oahu. Could do a wrap, but would need some body work and touch-up anyway. Roof is starting to get some small rust spots. Did I mention, black paint can go fuck itself!

You got a 2015 though. Would be tough getting myself to cut up a newer vehicle. Plus, can't go wrong with any of PB's stuff

I wanted to Line-X the whole truck, but no authorized installers on Oahu. Now just need to figure out what I'm gonna do for regear and air lockers.

Lord knows all the guys on the GB will need help with installs! especially me. I'm hoping Jason can squeeze me in, but, if not...I'll holler! I only have a Standard rear bumper with swing-out coming in. The difficult part will be the wiring of the back-up camera and the Baja Designs S2 lights.
