    Thanks man.

I been finishing up some odds and ends while waiting on some parts to show up.

I added a piece of 1/4" plate in the rear of the front spring hanger and got it burned in to add a little more strength to that area. It made it a ton easier to get a good weld. After that I painted everything up in that area.

Got my trimmed up grille installed for the first time in almost 3 years.

Started on my rear traction bar cross member. It's approximately 36" wide made of 2x3 .25 wt rectangle tubing with 3/16 scab plates for the frame. The Chevy 63s are prone to tons of axle wrap. It was bad before and I assume it will be worse now with the increased unsprung weight of the 14b and 40s.

Waiting on my sliders, traction bar parts and some one ton brake parts to show up.

Finally installed my 1 ton MC. I ended up replacing the rear OEM brake line with a -3 SS line to remedy the leaking one.
Added some fluid and got them initially bled. I just have to tuck all the lines away. Then on to a test drive.

Started mocking up my sliders tonight. I found them online from a shop called Slag Factory. They are 67" long with a kickout. The main tube is 2x3 with 1.75 outers and 2x2 legs. Scab plates and gussets were also included. They seem to be built well. I'm leaving the 2x3 tubes out a bit in order to be able to tie some tube into. Time to bust out the chop saw tomorrow to get the other legs cut and burned in.

Just look at the build thread
No he had some. They just didn't have the outer tube on them so they weren't very noticeable.

My old ones were horrible and were in the truck when I bought it. I have needed a set with kickouts for a while. The rear of my cab is evidence of that.

After running out of wire and gas for the welder I finally got my sliders burned in.

I'm going to miss out tomorrow. Red's going to represent the Toyota line just fine though.

Make sure you park on a heep though.

I've been working on a few things over the past week.

Addressed my pass side spring perch and got it all torqued down. I had to trim the inner 5/8 bolts to fit correctly to keep the spring plate on evenly.

I painted the front calipers, high steer arms, and steering linkage. I should have painted all this before in installed it the first time.

Just waiting on the paint to dry. Should be back in this week.

I installed a new fuel pump mount on the back of the cab just slightly lower than the fuel cell.

I didn't take any. The weather was pretty crappy. I did win 2nd place in the modified category though.

I reassembled the front end, greased all of the TREs and got the tires back on last night.

Now on to the rear calipers and to finish up some miscellaneous wiring/odds and ends.

Truck is ready to wheel as of this afternoon. I made a few hot laps through the neighborhood.

I need to get my spare DS shortened since the slip yoke on my current one is beat up pretty badly and I don't believe it will hold up for too much longer.
