It will help with the timing now that I pulled the MS off. It keeps the stock ECU from pullingvtoo much timing.

Thanks man. Fall and winter are my favorite beer seasons!

I think I’ll do this soon. Did you put stock injectors back in ?

That Nitro will have a slight retardation of timing. Positive about it.

I out in some oside 440’s. I moved the FPR vac line to the back of the manifold so that now it sees vac as well and not just boost. This will help trim the fuel with the larger than stock injectors

This is more like what I was looking to do because I can’t really afford the fuel management not trying to do everything you are but it just falls into place with what I’m trying to do depending on how much the injectors are.

Would you also possibly have a part number of the one you are using for the injectors :)

The injectors are $150 from oside. I would have done these the first time around if I realized that the stock ecu will run them. I thought they’d be too big but I did some research a few weeks back and found a handful of people on CT running them that way. I figure it will be some added cushion in the fuel area.

Just pick the 440 from the list. They have different rectangular shaped plugs on them but them come with adapter plugs to go from the stock plug to the 440 plug

I think I just picked Denso from the pull down menu and that’s it.

What I’m getting is 190 walbro lift pump, 440 injectors, new fuel filter, and have your FPR boost referenced.

I've only driven it a few times, but it definitely starts up way easier now...1st crank. It feels more responsive than it did when I was previously running off of the stock ECU. It idles perfectly with the 440's. I was concerned that it would idle rich, but hooking up the FPR to a Vac/Boost source has allowed it to trim enough fuel for a smooth idle. I'll drive it more the next week or two and report back with more feedback.
