I cut a decent amount of the wire off of the pig tail. I left it that’s it maybe a couple inches longer than the stock was

It dosen't seem like it would be the wire because all I did was cut the connector and splice the pigtail on but I'll shorten it when I'm in there tonight.

Also when I connected it, I used a bare metal butt connector and covered in with heat shrink tubing. Idk if that makes a huge difference or not but that’s how I connected it

Update on P0325 knock sensor : Today I picked up a new sensor and some fuel line to fix a leak and when I got home I decided to check the wiring. When I took the sheathing off the wire that I did twice last night it just came apart so re re did the wire and while I was in there I checked continuity from the end that I was working on to the harness bolted to the intake and it was good. I let it run in the driveway but I won’t test drive until tomorrow.

What are you using for crimping? if crimped correctly, it should not fall apart

I think I was just tired last night after the second time taking everything apart but I haven’t test driven yet. I can’t imagine if the P0325 comes on again what else it would be other than the sensor.

The difference that I’ve seen with FPR connected to the intake and seeing vacuum and boost is that the fuel gauge reads 40psi at idle and when your rev it up it goes to 50psi. When the FPR is connected to the TB it just stays at 50psi.

Yes i am thinking about that I just want to make sure the E85 won't mess anything up like fuel lines or anything else

Seems like that would make sense. The little wee fp would be fun the vac read at idle. Does it idle well with it connected to the Intake?

Idle is good ether way. I'm getting symptoms of vac/boost leaks but I'm not surprised since I've had everything off three times my fault but I'm getting quicker anyway. I'll check everything after work

Nope. They definitely looked sic but wound up being more than I needed. So I swapped out the 4.88’s for 4.30’s and put on some Wildpeak AT3’s in a 32x11.50 and lowered my suspension abou 1/2”. I like them so far. Truck rides better now and is very functional

@boostedka how are the 440cc injectors doing any issues like afr’s are they good idle to wot. My only issue is when I’m going up on the freeway the afr’s will go rich 8.5-9.5 but eventually it goes away

WOT has been good so far. I mostly have just had small issues at idle. Last couple days it idled rich around mid 10’s for a bit then trimmed out to 14.7 after idling for a bit. One morning I drove a couple miles and back then went to start it up an hour later and it was so rich it wouldn’t crank. So i just turned it over till that fuel burned off and it started up. Seems like the ecu is having trouble learning the new injectors and cold starts at the same time

    Hey man, welcome to TW!

I honestly don't remember what size caps I used. I think what I did was i just took the removed line to Autozone and just compared it to the caps they had and ended up buying a mixed size pack of them. They've held of well so far. I haven't had any issues with the TB coolant removal or the EGR removal. It's nice not having all that extra stuff to work around when I've needed to mess with stuff in that area.
