I have a 5 spd. 4 cylinder and the shift boot rattles? The leather that covers the actual post of the shifter somehow rattles, as I am not sure how. I can put a rubber band around it and it helps but I was wondering if others have had a similar problem.

my 6 speed does this as well.... it is intermittant though so i really dont worry about it to much... usually if i squeeze the boot and let go it will stop it..... only happens maybe once a week...
