Yep, I can do that for all Gens for MT right now.

Still working on the optimal AT setup though.

My product tester left for Baltimore last weekend and left it at home. Ugh ...

why can't the world just revolve around me and my needs already?

Think I'm just going to sell these four AT caps that I have. $22+ $5.25 S&H. Canada will have to wait for these until I am 100% sure it is the final version.

If they need tweaks I will just take care of that and send the revision out free of charge. Pretty confident this is nailed already, though.

I have two TRD and two plain (Edit: only 1 TRD now.)

I really tried my best to figure out and learn some and get good with Fusion360. I eventually gave up, I realized 3D modelling isn't in my abilities. Not without a good tutor. YouTube can only teach me so much.

At least you gave it a shot.

But I was talking about the HP Fusion printers that create these parts. The quality and strength amaze me. So much more potential than filament (FDM) printing.

Sure it is. It is tough to get the hang of the general workflow. The major hangup I see people having is thinking they need to approach everything in 3D and just overwhelm themselves. The human brain doesn't really work that way. Construction planes are the key, breaks everything down into 2D pieces. If you ever fire it back up, post any hang-ups you have in my build thread.

There are lots of tutorials for Fusion 360, but the interface has changed so much over the years that it would just be confusing at this point to look back and try to translate. Their latest few updates have it looking a LOT like Inventor 2020.

    Fusion and Fusion ...

Also! One note is that there are a lot of user created add ins for Fusion 360. I was dying on some layouts and contour tables until I found the Construction / Point at Coordinate add in.

With that, I was able to model B737 interior walls and seat tracks:

That's handy. Mastercam 2017 got rid of the XYZ drop downs on the design interface ... which was so clutch for stuff like that. There are other ways to achieve the same thing, but having it right there was great. This was precisely the moment I stopped doing any CAD work on there and moved elsewhere.

Now I just drop the points in random spots and use sketch-dimesion to place them. Easy peasy. I still miss the old way though, did that for yeaarrrrsss.

There are definitely work arounds, like you noted. But sometimes, I don't want to deal with two different clicks or functions to get one point when I need 100 more at places far from the origin. LoL!

It would have been even better if I could have imported some CSV tables, but I could not find a definitive source about that. I think it might have been something that they changed?

The CSV feature is what I tried to work with, but even a single click away added a ton of inconvenience. Older blueprints for my company worked off of gage points to give a reference for manufacturing to create a tracer template (designs predated CNC tech). I was tasked with simplifying a bunch of line segments into a simpler contour for dozens of blueprints. My goodness, so much rage as I was in the middle of that with the '17 update. Somebody probably developed a c-hook since then to import tables, but I'm not going back to find that out unless I have to.

To this day I have no idea why they did that, but I suppose there is good reason.

There is something about just putting the coordinates in that is final, less error prone IMO but I guess that could be argued.

Ouch! Yeah, that would give me a mental block also.

That is one thing. I don't full get constraints, esp the symbology. So, on parametrically defined objects, I found them moving during other unrelated operations, when I wanted them to be fixed. As far as I can tell, my Point at Coordinates have not let me down even with some real messing around with the model.
